Stopped in here just after 4am from leaving a club. After we gave our order I hit check-in on yelp and I saw Dennys was rated 1 solid star and a half. so I decided to read the reviews while we waited for our take out. that was a mistake. the photo with the hair in the food from one review really didnt help... at 4am this dennys was pretty much dead. 2 cutsomers to the right and a 3rd customer to the left. The customer to the left was keeping herself entertained by talking to the invisible people sitting across from her. This went on the entire time we waited for our food. The highlight was our waiter Joey. Excited to be at work and extremely out going and energetic. I expected a group of un happy employees. but that wasnt the case. Got home and our order was correct, something ale house cant even accomplish. I didnt dare check it for hair. not only was our order correct it tasted pretty freakin good. but it was now past 4am and we were starving, mozzarella sticks and blt for me. and omelet for her. oh and apparrntly frys come with the blt. I feel weird giving dennys 4 stars because its really not a 4 star restaurant. but because of the cheerful mood that joey had I'll bump my 3 stars to 4. guess we'll call it good customer service

ATTENTION ANY DENNY'S HIGHER-UPS ::::::: You need to come in and literally FIRE EVERYONE that works here because this place is a total TRAIN WRECK and is hurting your business ! The servers are atrocious ( one guy is good, literally one ) ! I literally listened to a dark haired older sever curse openly about almost every customer in the restaurant. This specific server didn't even want to seat me when I walked in and I was alone, quiet and respectful. I get people have bad nights but this was ridiculous. I have been to many Denny's before but this is by far the WORST STAFF maybe EVER ! If you want this place to continue to flourish in a great area like Altamonte someone needs to come down and address these staff issues STAT ! I left and went to Perkins and I know for a fact A LOT of other people are choosing Perkins and basically ANY other place to eat rather than going here to get the worst service of ALL TIME !!!!!!!!! AVOID, unless you want to experience the WORST service EVER ! Get it together servers, if you hate your job so much then get a new one and stop taking it out on the customers !

Waited almost an hour for food and got hair in my meal. After the meal was replaced, there was more hair the second time. Never going back.

I stay in the area while traveling for work , but not nearly as often as I once did . Do this AM I though I would pass on the hotel's free breakfast . I had the ultimate Omelette . No sides. The peppers and onions tasted fresh . Cooked perfectly . Denny's coffee is some of the best. Very good service also. Plus the give a AAA discount .

Came here on a Sunday night and there was only two waitress and one cook ,what a nightmare this place has become. We had to wait to be seated with a place that was not even that busy and they were short staffed. The food was not the best. I think this Denny's is lacking help and the food is going down hill. Next gin I think Perkins might be better

Just got done with breakfast. So first thing I saw when we got out of the car was (2) of the employees adding mulch to the flower beds outside. I understand going above and beyond as an employee but I also believe that a company should look out for their employees and I thought that was pretty ridiculous to have them doing that, period, but also when it was hot as hell outside. I guess that's why they can charge $4 for a meal. Now to the service, we waited about 2o minutes just to get our drink order, another 2o minutes before our order was taken, and then forever to bring out our food. The pancakes weren't fluffy, my over hard eggs were crunchy and dry. It just wasn't a good experience. Our waitress was very SLOW. Perhaps they should have had the employees that were outside landscaping, helping out with the wait and tables. Get it together.

If I could give minus stars I would. This place sucks, the food floats in grease, not good at all and honestly quite disgusting. I asked for a skillet and even the cloth that comes with the plate was dirty. Do NOT go to this place at all!

Their breakfast is much better than their lunch and dinner. Pricing is reasonable and the environment is comfortable and pleasant. Nice place for a semi-quick meal or business brunch.

Worst service EVER. Started off with ordering coffee and the mug had a giant lip stick mark on it, cup wasn't cleaned, pretty nasty. Sausage was completely uncooked. Than waited 45 minutes waiting for a check which never came. Three other groups walked out before us, which made the manager scream in back and was overheard throughout the whole restaurant. Ended up being there for two hours all together. TERRIBLE.

My mom liked her link sausage. Uhm, the seats allow for sitting And I did ask for a new order of bacon and biscuit.... Since they seemed undercooked for my request. We got the bill before I got the food. I hope Peggy just had a bad day

Several weeks ago, we went here because we like their Buffalo Chicken Tenders. Here's our experience. Firstly, it took a while for a waitress to greet us after we were seated. Quite a while later, another waitress came over to take our order, even though we'd given it to the first one. We saw our first waitress on the floor a little later. Maybe she had a melt down of something - who knows. Our food did finally come and it was good as usual, but it took almost 25 minutes to get it. And here we thought this would be a quick lunch. Anyway, we went to pay and I made a comment to the manager about our issues and the time and his comment to us was that it's a Saturday lunch and they were very busy. Is that why half the tables were empty? I realized later that we were overcharged. So I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager again. He did say that they made an error. It appears that they got new menus and forgot to remove so old ones. What got me is that he did not even offer to refund the difference. So, I contacted the corporate office via their website. They appeared to be helpful and a couple of weeks later we received a note card in the mail with 30 cents attached to it. This was only half of the overcharge. And it wasn't the money, but moreso the principal of the matter. It will be a long time before we go to a Denny's again!

There's a waitress there we really liked...haven't seen her lately. Anyway, the bad news. Moldy, water-stained ceiling, musty smell, nobody to greet or seat us when we arrived. We walked out. Too bad, this used to be a Friday night favorite place for us after the local high school football game...especially with their inexpensive menu of specials (2-4-6-8). Anyway, unfortunately it is off the list for us.

Avoid this place. Typically I like Denny's but this location has been awful every time I've gone. First of all, everything is dirty. The bathrooms, the tables, even the little holder where they keep the condiments is filthy. Next time you go, just lift up the salt or ketchup and look at the gunk under there. I don't want that near my food. We went awhile ago and waited over 20 minutes to be seated (it was busy so i'll give them that) . This would have been fine had there not been this loud woman at a table right near the door screaming and cussing about getting her money back when she's SURROUNDED by children. The manager refused to do anything about it and wouldn't even ask her to leave. This was frustrating as she wasn't that far from my ear. It just started the experience off wrong. We get to the table and remember how I said the table was dirty? EVERYTHING on table was dirty including the table itself. I asked the waitress to take away the dirty items and bring new ones. She reached over me and took the condiment tray from another table. After she left to get drinks I looked at this new tray and it was worse than the first plus it was shedding rust. Now, i'm not a germophobe. I'm really not. I just don't like the idea that something sticky I cannot identify is near my food. It's unsanitary and gross. I was unsatisfied so I contacted Denny's corporate and the store manager called and offered a free meal. I said okay and we went a week later. We got the same woman as our waitress and she was rude to us the whole time because she said we got her in trouble with the manager. When we got our food, it tasted like she had spit in my eggs. I was so grossed out I refused to eat. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the Altamonte Denny's.
